HISTORY & QUALITY
Colt Press was born in the 1980’s when methods and processes were more hands-on and printers were more directly responsible for the output of their machines. Nowadays the advance of technology has allowed all printing companies to be more efficient but in many cases totally reliant on technology.

At Colt, we are fully aware of the impact our industry has on the environment and have a strict environmental sustainability policy in place. We print with vegetable based inks and only using low chlorine, biodegradable materials from forests managed for environmental sustainability.
All waste paper is recycled and chemicals we use meet the requisite environmental standards and after use are collected for safe disposal. We ensure that every aspect of our activities are conducted in accordance with sound environmental practices.
Our latest commitment to the environment is to the Woodland Trust Carbon Capture Scheme.
LITHO
Litho printing is the benchmark against which all other print is measured. We run B1, B2 and GTO Litho presses, allowing us to deliver to the highest standard on short and long run work.
DIGITAL
Our latest digital presses allow us to offer a quality cost effective option to our clients short run, fast turnaround print requirements.
